SAA is a Non-for-profit Corporation certified by the State of New York and recognized by the United States Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service as a publicly supported organization. SAA is managed and administered by a Board of Directors, governed by a formal set of By-Laws, in conjunction with the policy, procedures, safety program and organization structure defined in the SAA Administration Guidebook.
Each SAA youth program is coordinated by a Program Director responsible for program execution in accordance with operating plans approved by the Board of Directors and via the rules and guidelines also defined in the SAA Administration Guidebook. All SAA coaches must sign and abide by a Coaches Code of Conduct Form. SAA relies heavily on volunteers and contributions from other organizations and businesses in the community to keep operating costs and fees as low as possible. Those interested in SAA Board of Director or Committee positions need to fill out an SAA Application and submit via any current SAA Director. SAA annual tax returns are available for review upon request.
